Les Follies Champagne and Variety Show

This monthly show at San Francisco's Bubble Lounge moves to the second Tuesday of the month for September. This month's featured burlesque performers are the Mischievous Maidens! Also, enjoy the comedy of emcee Lee Sanger Goldin, the musical stylings of Belinda Blair, and more comedy with Natasha Muse!

And there's no cover for this show. Just bring some dough for the bubbly you'll want to enjoy during the evening!

Comedy and Champagne are ** Guaranteed for GIDDINESS ** at this month's "Les Folies"!

MC Lee Sanger Goldin guides us through an evening of high class hooch and hoochie coochie at the Bubble Lounge's monthly cabaret: "Les Folies Champagne". Exquisite champagnes are paired with tantalizing, ecclectic live entertainment. This month we proudly present Belinda Blair, the Mischevious Maidens, and Natasha Muse. This is a night not to be missed-- especially since there's no cover charge!

Belinda Blair (Chanteuse on Ukulele with a stand-up bassist)
"Belinda has created a sassy, tongue-in-cheek vocal act on tenor ukulele. Her material ranges from blues, funk, bluegrass, reggae, soul, to indie rock and jazz. Next, she gets a crowbar and forces each song right out of its genre and into another of her choosing so it can be heard in a new way."
http://belindablair.com

Lee Sanger Goldin (MC and Comedian)
"Lee Sanger Goldin is an annoyingly diverse creative outhole. He has performed everything from Shakespeare to standup, sketch to improv, musicals to modern drama. As a writer he has penned plays, screenplays, music, political commentary, short stories, documentaries, and dirty poetry. On the Internet, Lee maintains a presence as a blogger, YouTuber, and podcaster."
http://www.chickenscratchimprov.com/bios

Mischevious Maidens (Burlesque Trio Extraordinaire)
Kitty Coquette, Bubble Yum, and Lady X are amazing burlesque performers who add a dash of juggling, comedy, and intrigue to their stripping! "The best burlesque of your LIFE!" http://themischievousmaidens.com

Natasha Muse (Comedienne)
"Natasha has performed all over the Bay Area, including the SF Comedy Clubhouse, the Purple Onion, the Dark Room, Castagnola's and the Actors' Theatre, where she produces and hosts "A Funny Night for Comedy" on the second Sunday of every month. Natasha is the first runner-up of the 2009 Battle of the Bay competition, and is almost definitely at least the second-funniest transsexual you know."

Dr. Sketchy's SF presents Sister Kate

Sister Kate is a genre-crossing belly dance burlesque trio from San Francisco that consists of three bad ass bombshells: Wendy Darling, Sarah Campbell, and Ashley Blair. All three ladies toured as company members of the well known tribal fusion belly dance troupe Ultra Gypsy before branching off to become bellydance's new sweethearts, Sister Kate. Together, they've developed a unique blend of sexy, whimsical belly dance cabaret, informed by the traditions of both tribal fusion belly dance and classic burlesque. Their theatrical performances, atypical costuming, and provocative blending of dance genres have been wowing audiences around the Bay Area. They are regulars at the Hubba Hubba Revue, have brought down the house at the SF Mecca Immersion, and hammed it up at the Love Parade 2008 VIP gala in San Francisco's city hall. They also produce the popular monthly gypsy cabaret Baxtalo Drom - The Lucky Road, where they are showcased every fourth Friday at Amnesia in San Francisco's Mission district. In addition, they perform regularly at private parties, weddings, benefits, and local burlesque shows. You won't want to miss New Years 2009 with these three saucy senoritas!

Wendy Darling, a golden-haired California native, began her performance career as a fire dancer, and was the lead costumer for Ultra Gypsy. Sarah Campbell, a cute-as-a-button spitfire from Florida, studied with Mahsati and Cerice Janan and danced with the Bal Fahjar troupe before relocating to San Francisco. The smoldering, green-eyed Ashley Blair taught dance classes in Chicago and was formally a member of the dance companies Tribalesque and Maya before moving to the bay area. All three ladies studied with local diva Jill Parker.

What is Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School?

Dr Sketchy's is an international drawing phenomenon.

In San Francisco, Dr Sketchy's gives you a monthly opportunity to draw rhinestone encrusted burlesque performers, bearded ladies, cute girls on bicycles and anything else we can conjure up to tantalize your pencils.

Dr. Sketchy's is the little Brooklyn event that became a movement. Founded in 2005 by artist Molly Crabapple, Dr. Sketchy's asked a simple question. Why can't drawing naked people be sexy?
