Sparkly Devil performs at Cabaret Perilous this Saturday, May 28

This Saturday night at the Uptown Club in Oakland, it'll be time for that show that features circus sideshow acts, belly dancers, contortionists, magicians, and burlesque dancers. That show is Cabaret Perilous!

This will also be your last chance to see our very own Sparkly Devil perform before she heads to Las Vegas to compete to be the 2011 Queen of Burlesque at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend next week! Let's send her off with three whoops and a loud, "Hooray!"

And of course there will be lots of other talented performers such as contortionist Nobutaka, magician Hernan Cortez, the Displayed Labors Sideshow, and Lee Presson's Fistful of Nails! And of course, there will be fantastic burlesque performers such as Mynx d'Meanor, The Scarlet Ladders, and The Can-Cannibals! Plus even more!

So head on over to the Uptown this Saturday night for a rendezvous with host Patina DeCopper, who will be your guide for the evening's entertainment. The Uptown is located at 1928 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland (map). The doors open at 9:00 p.m., and the show will begin at 10:00. The cover is $10.00, and you must be at least 21 years of age to attend.

Join Kingfish, Lee Presson, and the rest of the Hubba Hubba Revue this Monday evening, April 11, for their weekly show at the Uptown Club in Oakland! This week's show will feature several visiting out-of-town performers and some local favorites! Plus hear Pony Death Ride perform live, and experience the magic of Hernan Cortez!

Among the visiting performers will be Kitty Victorian of Washington, DC, Lowa de BoomBoom of Seattle, and Fever Blister of Los Angeles. And you won't want to miss Rizzo Rogue, Dorian Faust, and Babraham Lincoln of Sin Sisters Burlesque! If you've missed Legs Malone at the other stops on her West Coast tour, you'll have one more chance to catch this dynamic, sexy, and yes, leggy, New York City-based performer this Monday night, January 31, at the Hubba Hubba Revue show at the Uptown Club in Oakland!

But there's more! For the very same five dollar cover, you'll get to see another visiting performer, Ms. Louisa of Minneapolis. And from New Orleans, Dorian Faust. And they haven't forgotten to include one of the Bay Area's own, Mynx d'Meanor of Fishnet Follies!
