Little Minsky's Seventh Year Anniversary show tonight at Club Deluxe

That's right! It's the seventh anniversary of Little Minsky's! Lots of years of burlesque, music, magic, thrills, and fun in San Francisco. And tonight is a continuation of the party at Club Deluxe!

Tonight's show will feature some Little Minsky's favorites, including Alotta Boutté, Vienna La Rouge, La Chica Boom, Lady Satan, Honey le Bang, Ava Lanche, The Scarlet Ladders, Miss Balla Fire, Honey Lawless, and ElectriKat! Plus Coco Lectric is visiting from Austin, Texas! The host will be Trauma Flintstone. With music from Mr. Lonesome and The Bluebelles, contortion acts from Elliott and Christopher Lux, and that daredevil Molotov!

Club Deluxe is located at 1511 Haight Street in San Francisco (map). The doors open at 9:00 p.m., and the show starts at 10:00. The cover is still only $5.00.

That's right ladies and gents, Little Minsky's celebrates seven years of sequins, shimmies, shenanigans and cabaret confections with a star-studded soirée featuring a phenomenal cast of long-time favourites and tantalizing fresh talents. We're thrilled to announce the return of legendary drag impresario Trauma Flintstone to host the festivities with special guest burlesque sensation Coco Lectric visiting from Austin, the ever-elegant Vienna la Rouge, sizzling La Chica Boom, exquisite Honey le Bang, scandalous Lady Satan, alluring Ava Lanche, luscious Miss Balla Fire, spectacular Honey Lawless and the thrilling ElectriKat. And we'll have some silvery sweet harmonies from Mr. Lonesome and The Bluebelles, circus-style diversions from acrobatic contortion duo Elliott and Christopher Lux, soulful songs from vocal virtuoso Alotta Boutte, delightful dancing from those bendable beauties The Scarlet Ladders and feats of astounding strangeness from sword-swallower Molotov. Our thanks to all those fabulous folks both on and off stage that have kept the show rolling over the years - all our amazing performers, the magnificent Minsky's crew and of course, the best audience we could ask for. Coco Lectric and Ruby Vixen perform this week at Red Hots Burlesque

This week at Red Hots Burlesque, see the performances of Ruby Vixen, Austin's Coco Lectric, Alexa Von Kickinface, Kitty Von Quim, Kiss Me Kate, Electrikat and more! It'll be happening at two shows on Wednesday and Friday evenings at El Rio! The lineups for each show may be found below.

In addition, there are several more things happening. If you missed last week's fundraiser "Legends Shimmy to Sin City," you can still help send some burlesque legends to Las Vegas. They'll also be having a series of self-defense classes for RHB performers from 5:00 to 6:30. The classes will be conducted by Impact Bay Area.

The shows will be taking place at El Rio, which is at 3158 Mission Street in San Francisco (map). The shows start at 7:30 p.m. both evenings. Entry to the shows is on a sliding scale from $5.00 to $10.00.

Sassy Spitfire For Hire', Ms Ruby Vixen has been entertaining audiences all over the Bay since 2007. She's performed with Red Hots Burlesque, The Diamond Daggers, Debauchery, and most recently at San Francisco's own Hypnodrome Theater with the Thrillpeddler's revivals of The Cockettes 'Pearls Over Shanghai' and 'Vice Palace'. With her unique combination of sass, style, and queer camp sensibilities, this dancing, singing, all sparkle all the time Vixen is sure to set your heart on fire and leave your face sore from smiling.

ElectriKat dance-burlesque mixes long balletic lines with smoky bumps and grinds. Hubba Hubba Revue goes goth tonight at SF's DNA Lounge

Join the cast and crew of the Hubba Hubba Revue for tonight's Goth show at the DNA Lounge as they help celebrate the 19th Anniversary of Death Guild, SF's legendary goth-industrial danceclub!

This week's Red Hots Burlesque shows at El Rio on Wednesday and Friday evenings will feature two RHB featured performers of the month and two visiting performers! Plus, Go Deep wrestles this Thursday!

On Wednesday, November 30, November's featured performer of the month Kiss Me Kate will be performing along with Pearl E. Gates, Dottie Lux, and Uni and her Ukelele! The host will be the comedian, playwright, and humorist Marga Gomez!

Kiss Me Kate is a Bay Area burlesque performer and show producer. She is a regular cast member of the Hubba Hubba Revue, and has also performed at Barbary Coast Burlesque, Little Minsky’s, First Friday Follies, Fishnet Follies, BOOTIE, and elsewhere. Kate performed in the 2008 Tease-O-Rama (San Francisco), the 2009 Texas Burlesque Festival, the 2010 Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, and the 2010 New Orleans Burlesque Festival.

COCO LECTRIC (Austin, Texas) is a classically trained dancer, actor, and vocalist. With an absolute love of performing, she graces stages all over the world. She is a founding member of The Jigglewatts Burlesque (Austin, TX) and the Headmistress of The Austin Academy of Burlesque. Coco won “Queen of Burlesque 2010” of the New Orleans Burlesque Festival. She was “2010 Texas Performer of the Year” from the Hotrods and Heels festival and won the “Audience Choice Award 2009,” at the Texas Burlesque Festival. Coco performed in “Cointreau presents Dita Von Teese" with Special Guests in New Orleans. She was a featured performer in this past year's Windy City Burlesque Festival, Montreal Burlesque Festival, Texas Burlesque Festival and headlined at the Southwest Burlesque Festival. She performed Opening Night at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in Las Vegas 2010 and in the Miss Exotic World and Reigning Queen of Burlesque competition in 2011. She is the current titleholder for second runner up at Viva Las Vegas and is #13 in 21st Century Burlesque’s “50 Top Burlesque Performers in the World.”

San Francisco's own Satans Angel returns to perform at Barbary Coast Burlesque tonight, Friday, August 12!
