Flabulous! At SomArts this Saturday, November 21, 2009

Flabulous! An Evening of Performance By and For People of Size & Their Allies will be happening this Saturday at SomArts in San Francisco. There are two showtimes, 7:00 and 9:00pm.

This historic show will feature performances from many of your favorite performers of size from the West Coast, including Rubenesque Burlesque, Pidgeon Von Tramp (of Seattle's Von
Foxies), Jukie Sunshine & Alotta Boutté, Lady Monster, Juicy Delight, CHUBB, Phat Fly Girls, and many others!

Tickets are $15 for general admission, and $20 for preferred seating. You may buy tickets in advance at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/86966. There is a $1.99 service fee for tickets purchased online. You will, however, know that you'll have a ticket in case both shows sell out!

Diamond Daggers Cabaret & YBCA Big Idea Night pARTy on Saturday, November 14, 2009

The Diamond Daggers will be putting on a cabaret show this Saturday night in conjunction with the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts as part of they YBCA Big Idea Night pARTy, "State of the Queer Nation"!

Joining the Diamond Daggers for the cabaret will be Alotta Boutté, Simone de la Getto, La Chica Boom, Kentucky Fried Woman, and CHUBB.

In addition, there will be a lot of other things to see and do. You can see the exhibits, sample some food and drink, listen to opinions at the Soapbox Social (RSVP separately here), watch short films, or even win a Smart car! For October, the Kentucky Fried Woman Show is having a benefit for those traveling to Tucson, Arizona for IDKE XI (http://www.idkexi.com), the International Drag King Extravaganza!

She's got a show chock full of performers, including CHUBB, Starr69, Fella-Fem, and many more! Plus see Kentucky Fried Woman interact with cohost Jake Danger! There will be baked goods (Nom nom!) and auctions where you can win a date with a performer!
