This Thursday, June 14, Cabaret de Caliente will be at Sebastopol's Hopmonk Tavern for another night of burlesque, bellydance, music, circus sideshow, and overall enchantment!

There will also be a fundraiser for Cassandra Sweet Beat Petite for her journey to London to perform this September, so bring some extra coins and bills for her!

Also performing this month will be Baby Blue Boom Boom, Pyro Pantera, Andi Stardust, Will Longfellow, gypsy musicians Les Bon Temps, Reyna and Kristen from Wildcard Bellydance, bellydancer Megz Madrone, salso dancers Jose and Shasta, flamenco dancer Sara Zanolini and guitarist Mark Berry, and Illumination Magic!

Plus after the show, stay for the music of special guest, beat machine JPOD, the beat chef! He's on tour from the West Coast of Canada to make your feet beat, and make your hands clap. Check out his digital label/tool shop Swing Set Sounds!

The Hopmonk Tavern is in Sebastopol at 230 Petaluma Avenue (map). The doors open at 8:30 p.m., and the show starts at 9:30. Tickets are $15 at the door, and $10 in advance at www.hopmonk.com.

It's finally getting as hot outside as we've been keeping it inside! Come celebrate the beginning of summer at Sebastopol's own monthly dance and circus arts variety show inspired by historic Vaudeville and Burlesque!

We will be helping the lovely Cassandra SweetBeat Petite to raise funds toward performing in London following The Olympic Games this September, so please bring a little extra something for her!

The 2nd Thursday of each month Cabaret de Caliente brings glitter and glamour to the bounce and boogie of jUkE jOiNt with Burlesque, belly dance, sideshow, magic, unique musical acts and circus arts. The night continues with the same get down groove that has made jUke jOiNt the hottest weekly dance party in the North Bay for 5 years.

Cabaret de Caliente heats up the North Bay tonight, Thursday, January 19

There's a new show in Sebastopol, and its name is Cabaret de Caliente! It's presented by jUkE jOiNt, and it'll happen tonight at the HopMonk Tavern.

Cabaret de Caliente is a monthly dance and circus arts variety show. This month's show will showcase Ciel Ravenspell, Eva d'Luscious of Verses of Seduction, Violet Streak, and others! DJ Malarkey will provide music for the dance party, and you can always get something to drink or eat at the HopMonk.

If you're a performer and would like to perform on the HopMonk stage at a future show, there are instructions below on how to contact Cabaret de Caliente.

Cabaret de Caliente welcomes a variety of performers, including circus arts (no ariels yet), Burlesque, side show, magicians, belly dance, musicians, and other strange and interesting acts that really float our boat.

Please note that fire performances are restricted to small fire tools such as wands, bowls and fire fingers. (Did we just say you actually can do fire, yes, we did!!!!)

Most performances are 4-6 minutes long; longer times or multiple acts in one show can be discussed. Compensation is share of the door and drinks in our Green Room.
