Tonight! Burlesqueteer Prom at SF's Elbo Room and the Last Séduction Féroce at Oakland's Era Art Bar and Lounge in Oakland

Tonight will feature two notable burlesque shows in the Bay Area. In San Francisco at the Elbo Room, Bombshell Betty's Burlesqueteers will be having the Burlesqueteer Prom. In Oakland, Séduction Féroce will be having their last show at Era Art Bar featuring Rhinestone Gorilla Burlesque.

It's late spring, so it's prom time! And the Burlesqueteers are getting in the spirit of tiaras, tuxes, prom dresses, and corsages. So join Bombshell Betty and her current and formers students as they put on an entertaining show that will also benefit the Everyday Bombshell Scholarship Fund!

The Elbo Room is located at 647 Valencia Street in San Francisco (map).  The doors open at 9:00 p.m., and the show starts at 9:30. Tickets are $10.00, and a table for two is $35.00. Over at the Era Art Ban and Lounge in Oakland, Séduction Féroce will be having their last show at that venue. Future shows will be at another site, which they may announce tonight.

But before they move, they're sure to put on a super show at their home for their first two years! The show will include performances by Rhinestone Gorilla. It's a team of ragtag art school rejects that we here at the San Francisco Burlesque Review have called "dangerous-minded and infectious" and "the future of burlesque"! Formerly Alpha Psi Ecdysia at SUNY New Paltz, we met this group at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend several years ago and are glad they've stayed with burlesque and are touring the country. The emcee for the evening will be the leader of the Gorillas, Lucida Sans!

Also performing will be local favorites such as Bunny Von Tail, Scarlet Harlot, Sgt. Die Wies, Tali the Tattooed Tart, Jet Noir and more!

The Era Art Bar and Lounge is located at 19 Grand Avenue in Oakland (map). The doors open at 8:00 p.m., and the show starts at 9:00. Entry to the show costs $5.00.

Séduction Féroce is a burlesque cabaret variety show that happens EVERY second Tuesday of the month! Doors open at 8pm and show starts at 9pm. This month we have an amazing line-up of performers to tantalize you taste buds. A delicious new kitty kat Miss Starlet Valentine!!! And the dj who will keep the show on the flow DJ gravedigger!!!

This month its a Rhinestone Gorilla Takeover!!!!!!
