Haight Street Art Stroll Co Co Luxe Presents: Joshua Ellingson and Kitten on the Keys

Date: Friday, June 26, 2009
Time: 5:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Coco-luxe Confections (www.coco-luxe.com)
Street: 1673 Haight St.
City/Town: San Francisco, CA

We are so lucky to host artist Josh Ellingson and my favorite frisky feline Kitten On The Keys for this months Art Stroll.

Josh Ellingson lives and works as an illustrator in San Francisco, California. He has contributed artwork to popular publications and websites worldwide and worked with clients ranging from toy makers to tequila companies.

In addition to his illustration and design business, Josh Ellingson is the director for The Local 303, a studio/collective of illustrators and designers in San Francisco, California. The Local 303 provides a professional working environment as well as a space for collaboration, critique and art exhibition. Josh Ellingson also contributes editorial writing and reviews to Hi-Fructose, a contemporary art and culture magazine.

Known as Kitten on The Keys, Suzanne Ramsey is a firkeytoodlin' frisky feline galloping with uber kittitude. As seen on HBO, E! , IFC, Queer TV , MTV, Bravo, and other media outlets, she embodies the spirit and style of those days of decadence gone by. Pianist and chanteuse, expect a racy ragtime romp when this little kitty sharpens her claws on a meow mix medley of mad cap gems of yesteryear with a naughty whimsical edge.

This internationally known versatile comedic performer MC's , sings, dances, tickles her ivories, plays the ukulele and accordion in gorgeous getups! She's a little Cabaret, Burlesque, and Vaudeville all in one! Her charming voice channels a saucy Betty Boop coo to a gritty Mae West ommph! Clever, Kinky, and Cute!

From Tin Pan Alley, Classical, Broadway, Power ballads, remakes of punk classics, and her original "punky cabaret" ditties, this little kitty puts on one heck of a live show! She lists her Fave female role models as Alice Cooper, Freddie Mercury, and Liberace!
